Help your child visualise their routine for the day, with this daily task chart craft kit.

The kit comes with 14 wooden tiles that slot onto one of the four pegs.

Each of the tiles has an image to represent a task. The tasks included in the kit are:
– Bed (make your bed)
– Shoes (put your shoes on/take them off)
– Bath (bath time)
– Toothbrush & paste (brush your teeth)
– Plate of food (breakfast/lunch/dinner time)
– Coat (put your coat on/off)
– ABC blocks (playtime or learning)
– Brush (brush hair)
– Open book (story time or homework)
– Clothes (get dressed)
– Soap (wash hands)
– 1, 2, & 3 Stars (rewards for tasks completed)

You can create your own tasks or chores by using the back of each tile. We added some extras to ours, such as a rucksack for pack your school bag.

The chart is easy to construct, with six wooden dowels that slot into the task board (two to hold in up and four pegs for tasks). Brighten up the tiles with the watercolour pencils included in the kit. The pencils can be used just like regular colouring pencils, or you can apply a small amount water and use a paint brush to blend them.
